Fernando Reza’s posters featuring objects from Game of ThronesValyrian steel, wildfire, and milk of the poppy–done in the style of 17th century cabaret artists like Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec. Now he’s back with even more illustrations, this time of those lovely A Song of Ice and Fire poisons. Plus bonus stallion hearts! Tasty, tasty stallion hearts. You can buy limited-edition prints on Reza’s website, with the original three posters available through the Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco.

These posters are done in the visual style of French cabaret posters and advertisements from the 1800’s by such masters as Jules Cheret, Leonetto Capiello, and Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec. I wanted to highlight some of the items, potions and weaponry in the Game of Thrones/ Song of Ice and Fire universe, and i wanted to do it in an interesting way. After the first release I got a lot of requests to do a follow-up and this time I really wanted to do the poisons, which were central to this last season.

Originally part of Spoke Art Gallery’s Multiple Game of Thrones art shows throughout the years
